Guidelines for Poster Exhibition

Location: Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering, Pune, India

18th & 19th, October 2016

  • Authors should be prepared to present at their poster during complete time of the poster Q&A session
  • Each author will be provided with space on a poster board. Thus, there is no need to bring their personal boards.
  • Size: Maximum poster size is 1mX1m and each author will be provided tapes, glues, and push-pins
  • Orientation: Portrait preferred
  • Lamination: It’s a good idea to get your poster laminated.
  • Font size: Each poster must include text in a large enough font (e.g. 24 point for main text) to be read easily by attendees from a distance of 4 to 5 feet or more.
  • Set-up time begins 30 mins prior to the poster session.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring their research products and samples for demonstration.
  • Please note that the organizers will not offer tables for laptop computer demos during the poster session. If you would like to demonstrate your software, you are encouraged to bring your own equipment.
  • Poster printing: Authors are responsible for printing and bringing the poster to the poster session. Nevertheless, we recognize that traveling with a poster is not very practical and hence we can provide some local printing options that will print and deliver your poster.
  • Additional information: Any additional information that you think would enhance the presentation.
